Columbarium & Memorial Book
At Mount Garibaldi Cemetery, Squamish, B.C.
Squamish Funeral Chapel & Crematorium along with the District of Squamish have come together to meet the needs of families who want to inter two urns into one niche (ie. mom & dad) or a single urn into one niche in a above ground setting.
The above ground interment in a setting that is quiet, peaceful and elegant and allows families to see, touch and place a flower in the vase on the bronze memorial containing the ashes of their loved one. It brings dignity and respect while creating ceremony to a life lived.
Families who choose to scatter ashes are able to leave a legacy by having their name, birth date and date of passing inscribed in Granite Memorial Book which is located in the centre of "The Gardens" setting.
This plan has five stages of growth and shows future development which allows for gardens and bench locations.
